At Polaroid Eyewear we are a global business with a central Finance team and we have a requirement for a Dutch Credit Controller to take responsibility for cash collection from our Dutch customers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Cash collection for all Dutch customers involving management of the SAP dunning process and calling customers where payment is not received
· Working with front office, the sales team and IT to quickly resolve any issues delaying payments.
· Responding to customer requests for statements or copy invoices.
· Allocation of cash collected to customers account working with the Financial Accountant to make sure that any discrepancies are properly book kept.
· Providing regular updates to the financial controller and country manager on open receivables and cash collection.
· Achievement of dso targets for the Dutch market.
· Preparation and issue of monthly summary invoices for some customers.
· Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
· Daily order release.
· Customer master maintenance.
The successful candidate must have:
· Fluency in English and Dutch (both written & verbal to native level) is essential.
· Previous experience of working within a similar role.
· A strong working knowledge of SAP is desirable, though training will be provided.
· Demonstrate a competent level of professionalism and credibility in dealing with both customers and colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
· Good attention to detail and accuracy skills.
· Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work effectively.
· Have a high level of keyboard skills and PC applications knowledge/aptitude especially in MS Excel and Outlook.
· Be able to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
